ANTA'S SUMMER FUN DAY
August 14, 2000, North Stonington, CT

Summer Fun Day Mixes Games ... Food ... and Fellowship

On Saturday, August 14, the fairgrounds in North Stonington, CT, were the site of a gathering of ANTA members and friends. This informal event featured lure coursing, introduction to earth, flat racing and other activities including a delicious chicken barbecue prepared by the local Grange.

Jane and Everett Anderson hosted an informal supper at their home in nearby Mystic on Friday evening. This was followed the next day by a variety of activities and a good deal of socializing. Many nearby activities, including the Mystic Seaport (home of the Amistad) and the Foxwoods Casino make this area of Southeastern Connecticut an attractive vacation destination. Add an ANTA event to the mix and you have a "can't miss" Summer weekend.
