TEAM NORFOLK

TEAM NORFOLK is a fellowship of Norfolk owners who believe the true nature and heritage of this sporting terrier can and should be demonstrated in the field. Organizer and unofficial leader: Richard Reynolds.

In October, 1997, a motley bunch of Norfolk owners and their dogs met on a Friday in Martinsburg, WV, at the Finale Farm of Wally and Carolyn Bishop to practice at go-to-ground. The occasion was a nearby, two-day AKC-licensed earthdog trial on the following Saturday and Sunday. That weekend TEAM NORFOLK was born and began to prosper at Crosswicks, NJ. Participants came from Connecticut, Georgia, New Jersey, upstate New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Virginia and cadres from Team Norfolk were soon descending on earthdog trials all over the eastern half of this country.

Some of the team has been captured in the following pictures.
