By the time you read this, you, the members, will have received the slate for the new Board. I have very much enjoyed being President of ANTA for the past two terms, but it is time for new blood and for the club to move forward.
Thank you for all your support and encouragement. I know we have managed to achieve a few memorable things -- a reprint of the late Joan Read's book ... the pedigree book ... heart and health clinics ... and some very enjoyable gatherings.
Thank you all for your efforts and special thanks to the Board members who've worked so hard to make this possible. Their efforts have encouraged others to try new and different things with their dogs.
I am really encouraged that we have such a wonderful and vibrant association, but we do need your participation and support. You are ANTA.
I can think of many areas where assistance would be appreciated. To give an example, we need an Historian/Archivist; it would be such a shame to let our Norfolk history fade away.
As always we need your help and appreciate all of you who give so generously. Your contributions don't need to be major ... every little bit helps.
Once again, thank you for all your continuing support of ANTA and I look
forward to seeing you at our Fall Festival.
