Wow! Where has the year gone? It is already December and we are in the throes of planning events for 2008.
It has been lovely to be able to meet so many people this year new members and old at our various events: Maryland's Spring Fling on a beautiful day who knew a nasty storm was going to come thru on the Sunday?
Fun at the Fairgrounds in Connecticut on a very hot August day lots of dogs, CGC testing, earthdog training and, as always, wonderful food from the ladies of the Grange.
It all culminated in our Fall Festival in October. Conformation judging on Saturday I for one was pleased with the quality of our entries and Sunday was a totally fun day with racing, lure coursing, earthdog and agility. All in all a very busy and enjoyable weekend.
Thank you everyone who hosted and assisted in making these events so successful. We have an upcoming event in Florida in March and we are working on further events throughout the year. Planning for next October's Fall Festival is already underway, as well.
ANTA has wonderful people who work very hard volunteering their time and efforts in making these events work so successfully. Please feel free to offer your services or time to help if you have not yet done so. Every little bit counts, and if you have suggestions or specialized services to offer let us know. It is your participation that makes ANTA work.
Have a safe and happy Holiday Season and a wonderful 2008; I hope to meet you at our forthcoming events.
