MESSAGE FROM ANTA'S PRESIDENT, JUDITH FELTON
Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year

By the time you read this, the year 2005 will almost be over! I think this past year should be called, "The Year of the Norfolk" as our breed has made its mark throughout the world: `Coco' in the US and England; Max-well's Red Devil in Sweden, and Nanfan Calamus (aka `Chaucer') in Australia. In addition, Dralion's Fire Within, who hails from Canada, was Best in Show at our Fall Festival.

Congratulations to their owners and breeders -- how proud you must feel.

We have had a lot of fun with the various events and gatherings throughout the country celebrating the 25th anniversary of The American Norfolk Terrier Association -- Florida, Maryland, Connecticut and culminating in our Fall Festival in upstate New York, which was judged by Bee Ege (the late Joan Read's daughter) and which was very well attended despite the atrocious weather prior to the weekend.

On a more business-like note, 2006 is an election year and there are positions to be filled on the Board. At the risk of repeating myself, "We need your participation with fresh blood and new ideas." We have been in existence for 25 years let's keep ANTA going towards its Golden Anniversary.

If you think you can help us, in any way, small or large, please let me or a Board member know. In the same vein, if you have any ideas for future events, let us know as we are already working on 2006.

One final note don't forget your submissions for the Pedigree book.

Have a safe and happy holiday season and very best wishes for the New Year to come.

Judith Felton
