I'm the woman with the funny accent! My husband, Douglas, and I arrived in the States in 1984 with three young sons and two Norfolks (Heathjul Christmas Robin and Elve Black Shadow) in tow. Ever had dogs with jet lag? At three o'clock in the morning they're raring to go!
I've owned and been involved with Norfolks for approximately 20 years showing and breeding with some successes and a few hiccups along the way and generally having fun meeting lots of people and learning more about the breed each day.
I would like to thank Ed Plummer, our outgoing President, for all his wonderful work over the past few years. Ed is responsible for our Web site and computerizing our records. He has kindly agreed to continue this work for us.
Also my thanks to all the various members who work so hard to make our gatherings such a success volunteers always welcome!
We are working on various ideas for next year and if you have any comments and/or suggestions as to what you would like, please don't hesitate to let us know.
