I am sorry to report that Barbara Fournier passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23rd. Sheila Foran's tribute to Bobbie can be found in our Articles Index under "In Memoriam, People".
Many who are relatively new to Norfolks and ANTA may have known of Bobbie primarily as host of our biannual events in Santa Fe, NM, which was her home. Or, perhaps as an AKC conformation judge. For the old-timers though, Bobbie was known and respected as a Norfolk pioneer (Drop Ear Norwich back then), ANTA co-founder and ANTA's first president. We extend our condolences to her family and friends; she will be missed.
Our tribute to her will be two fold: First, ANTA has made a substantial contribution in her name to Cornell University's James A. Baker Institute for Animal Health. And second, we will dedicate to her our 2000 Norfolk Terrier Pedigree Book, which is is scheduled for publication in October, 2000.
